2008 MHS Alumni Basketball Tournament
Since 1993, the alumni of Marietta Senior High School have been gathering in March to have a basketball tournament. This tournament draws members of several different classes of alumni to compete with each other. MariettaOhio.info is proud to host this information for such an event!
The 15th annual Marietta High School Alumni Basketball Tournament is scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2008 through Sunday, April 6, 2008. The tournament will be played at multiple locations, including Marietta High School and Marietta Middle School, and will feature round robin play in multiple divisions, including the Orange, Black, White, and Lady Tiger divisions. Sunday will feature a single elimination format of top teams in a championship round in all divisions. Additionally, Sunday will feature the eighth annual battle between the Coaches/Faculty and the current class of Tiger athletes (Class of 2008).
NEW EVENT: There will be a MHS Alumni Tournament Reception held at the Marietta Country Club on Saturday, April 5, 2008 from 8PM to Midnight. The entry fee is $5 with proceeds given to the MHS Athletic Boosters. The event will feature DJ music, Final Four Basketball on a big screen TV, and a cash bar with all your favorite legal beverages.
